Investment Thesis
ESGD is the pragmatist's ESG: optimise toward better-rated companies, drop the tobacco and weapons tails, but constrain the whole exercise to hug the EAFE index — so the +16% year looks almost exactly like the market it screens. It became the default international sleeve for values-mandated model portfolios precisely because it asks so little tracking-error sacrifice.
