Investment Thesis
MINT was the original actively managed cash-alternative ETF, and fifteen years on the playbook still works: PIMCO's credit desk scoops up short paper the indexes miss, historically clearing money-market returns by a steady margin. The 0.36% fee is the knock — PULS does similar work for less — but the depth of PIMCO's short-duration desk keeps $12B parked here anyway.
Who It's For
Cash managers who want an active manager squeezing basis points from short credit, with month-to-month price stability. Compare with PULS on fee; the strategies rhyme.
