Investment Thesis
IGSB collects the short-corporate spread — typically 40-80bps over comparable Treasuries — from a deeply diversified book of blue-chip borrowers, at duration low enough that 2022's historic rate shock cost it only mid-single digits. It is the standard step up from Treasury-only short funds for investors who accept that Apple and JPMorgan defaulting inside five years is a risk worth being paid a fraction of a percent to bear.
Who It's For
Conservative income investors extending beyond government paper, and cash-adjacent allocations with 2-4 year horizons.
