Investment Thesis
With the yen at 157 and sliding, unhedged Japan funds hand back a chunk of Tokyo's rally in translation — DXJ keeps all of it, and its exporter tilt means the weak yen actively fattens the underlying earnings too. The +40% year made it 2026's premier Japan vehicle, the same double-engine trade that defined the Abenomics era. If the yen ever V-turns, the engines reverse.
Who It's For
Japan bulls who read the Bank of Japan's caution as structural yen weakness — the currency view IS the fund. Unhedged BBJP next door is the agnostic alternative.
