Investment Thesis

EFAD applies the same dividend growth investing philosophy as ProShares's popular US dividend aristocrats ETF to developed international markets, selecting companies with at least 10 consecutive years of dividend increases from the MSCI EAFE universe. This stringent screen filters for the most financially disciplined international companies with proven commitment to returning capital through economic cycles. The resulting portfolio is concentrated in high-quality European and Australian companies with global businesses, long profitability track records, and managements with demonstrated shareholder orientation.

Who It's For

International dividend growth investors who want the same quality screen applied to non-US markets that ProShares applies domestically. EFAD suits those building a global dividend growth portfolio alongside domestic dividend aristocrats exposure, and investors who want a similarly stringent international quality filter. The 10-year consecutive increase requirement ensures only the most reliable dividend payers in developed international markets make the cut.
