Investment Thesis
DGRW uniquely combines dividend growth characteristics with fundamental quality and earnings growth screens, resulting in a portfolio that looks more like a quality growth fund than a traditional dividend fund. The WisdomTree index selects dividend-paying companies with the strongest analyst consensus earnings growth forecasts combined with high return on equity and return on assets. This methodology has historically produced a portfolio that outperforms pure income dividend strategies while maintaining dividend growth characteristics.
Who It's For
Growth-oriented investors who want dividend income alongside capital appreciation potential. DGRW suits those who find traditional high-yield dividend funds too defensively positioned and want technology and quality growth companies represented meaningfully in their dividend portfolio. The earnings growth screen naturally tilts toward innovative companies that happen to pay dividends, creating a more balanced growth and income characteristic than most dividend ETFs.
