Investment Thesis

SPYV is the simplest large-cap value building block there is: S&P's own value screen on its own index, for four basis points, with a quarter-century of live history. It will never top a single year's chart — the screen keeps a foot in every sector — but as the cheap half of the market's premier index it is the natural rebalancing destination when growth gets expensive, which is exactly the current debate.

Who It's For

Asset allocators pairing it against SPYG or a growth-heavy core, and cost-obsessed value investors who want the standard benchmark rather than a clever screen. The style-box workhorse.
