Investment Thesis

IWR is the benchmark most mid-cap managers are judged against, holding the bottom 800 of the Russell 1000. Mid-caps compound with a persistence neither extreme matches — proven businesses still small enough to double — and IWR's breadth means no single name dominates. Its 0.19% fee is the toll for the benchmark ticker; VO and IJH deliver near-identical exposure cheaper, which is the honest comparison to run.

Who It's For

Institutionally-minded investors who specifically want Russell methodology, and portfolio completers filling the gap between S&P 500 and small-cap sleeves.
