Investment Thesis
GSLC's pitch is factor investing without factor-fund pricing: four return premiums blended and rebalanced for 0.09%, when single-factor rivals charge two to five times more. The blended approach means it rarely tops any one year's chart — low-vol drags in melt-ups, momentum drags in reversals — but the smoothed ride hugs the S&P 500 with slightly better risk characteristics. Its trailing-year gap versus pure cap-weight is the cost of that diversification in a momentum-led market.
Who It's For
Cost-conscious investors who want mild multi-factor diversification inside their core US holding rather than as a separate bet. A set-and-forget S&P 500 alternative for people who distrust single-factor timing.
